So, let's see what's been going on lately. It is the fourth of July today and I am waiting for Tom to come home. I had a 3-day weekend, so I return to work tomorrow. The last few days have been wonderful. I have Wednesdays off with Tom and then Thursday he works, and I have the day off.
We have been splitting firewood trying to knock down the piles of whole rounds and getting the wood split so it can start drying out.
On Wednesdays we have been going hiking with our goats. We took Whiskey and Rocky last week and the week before that it was Rocky, and the three packers. Thundar, Thor and Zeus. It is getting close to hunting season, so the goats need to be trained to hike together, and we also need to get in better shape.
The garden has really started growing nicely, the veggies as well as the weeds. always the weeds find a way. We have spent a good amount of time this week pulling weeds. We pulled a handful of radishes today and they are so delicious.
Stormy, the youngest goat has found a way to get out of the field today, so I had to put her back in twice today. I am not sure where she is getting out, so we are going to move her with her mom to a secure pen.
